I've been going to life drawing sessions since I was twelve and my work has almost always been figurative. Below are some examples of my work. The pastels are often so dense that at first glance it is hard to tell they are not paintings. The one of Echo was created as an installation with multiple panels so that the viewer could walk through the piece. The angled placement of mirrors was designed to refract and reflect the drawings as well as the viewer so that the viewer would become a splintered component of the work.
