I wanted a vacation. I wanted to walk along Goosewing Beach in Little Compton Rhode Island, eat soft serve coffee ice cream and wander around those manicured lawns that spill so gracefully down to the water in the "Ocean State." So my oldest friend Julie and her husband Lee gathered me in to their dreamy home in Woodstock NY, cooked up a scrumptious birthday dinner and conjured up a few thousand fireflies over their pond to crown it all. Then Julie drove me to RI where we stayed at a little cottage on Walker's Cove in Bristol -- just a few doors down from Blithewold Gardens. Below are photos from Julie and Lee's.
In all of my ePortfolio work I talk about using the blog as an engine for collecting evidence and tagging that evidence so that during the selection process it is easy to filter. But I never follow my own advice. So as of today (1/15/13) I am going to begin dumping things in here and see if I can train myself to get in the habit of posting something at least once a week.
